1.Arrow of Light Ceremony (one Person)

Akela: Long ago a goal was set. This goal: The Arow of Light, was sought after. 
For many moons unflinching they toiled upon the trail to reach this goal and 
encourage those who have yet to reach the summit, to march on until they do. 

(If den leaders wish to present recipients with histories they may do so)

Akela or Leader : (Name) has earned the Arrow of Light! Let him also now 
pass over into the realm of boy Scouts where he starts on a new but well
traveled path with another goal. This goal; The Eagle Scout! May you honorably 
travel this path, and again reach the summit.

( The recipient now walks over the bridge {provided by troop or pack} while 
the arrow is shot symbolically to show the achievement.)

(Chapter advisor or Akela :dissertation as to the purpose of the shooting of the arrow)

2. Arrow of Light Ceremony ( 2 people )

Allowat: Many scouts have been given the challenge to obtain the Arrow of Light,
traveling Bobcat to wolf, wolf to bear, bear to weblows, and finally through weblows 
to obtain the Arrow of Light. (# of Scouts) Scouts are here with us tonight that have 
traveled the long path to obtain this award. Brother (to kitch) would you now search 
the trail for these worthy scouts?

Kitch: I will Brother Allowat

(kitch "searches the trail" for scouts)

(on approach of kitch to Allowat)
Allowat: Brother who are these who travel with you?

Kitch: These (# of Scouts) are ready to obtain the Arrow of Light, and cross over to the 
next realm.

Allowat: Have they traveled the trail successfully?

Kitch: They have and their leaders vouch for them.

Allowat: Then let us hear of their accomplishments from their leaders, as their achievement
is shown by a golden arrow, shot on a path as true as their own.

( the histories of the scouts are told as the arrow is shot and each is given to the scout
as a symbol of their achievement. Let all the scouts go through and then proceed with the 
cross over.)

Allowat: Now, upon hearing of these great achievement, let us now watch as they each in 
turn symbolically crossover into a new realm, with new goals, boy scouts.)

( All cross over and are met by boy scout troop)

(end, Allowat may say congratulations or something similar if needed)

3. Arrow of light Crossover Ceremony (4 people)

Allowat: for many years youth have come and joined cub scouts. THey have traveled upon 
the scout trail: Bobcat, Wolf, Bear, and finally Weblows. We have some of these scouts 
with us tonight. They have come to the final stage in their cub scout trail, The 
Arrow of Light. (to Mateu) Brother Mateu is all ready?

( if there is no Mateu, Nutiket can be put into his place for the above reference to 
Mateu)

Mateu: (briefly gaze about the room {mainly for seeing if the scouts are assembled}) It 
is Brother Allowat, and the candidates for the Arrow of light and Crossover are awaiting 
guidance to this final step. 

Allowat: (nods in agreement) Brother Kitchkinet walk the trail and find those scouts 
ready for this final step.(kitchkinet goes and gets scouts)

Nutiket: (as Kitchkinet approaches) Brother Kitchkinet, are these scouts the one's ready for 
advancement?

Kitchkinet: They are Brother Nutiket.

Nutiket: Then pass, and let the Arrow of light soar as a symbol of their achievement. Let the Eagle 
then shine as their next goal. Let the arrow fly as a guide for them when they traverse into Boy Scouts,

where they will be welcomed by their fellow boy scouts, and their names read for all to hear 
and know, guide them brother kitchkinet to the next level. 
(makes a passing gesture as he lets kitchkinet by)

	Kitchkinet leads them to the cross-over bridge, you can have an actual arrow being shot
	into a target (bail of hay) as each scout traverses the bridge (speed regulated by Kitchkinet 
	or leader ) and the scout is met on the other side by a scoutmaster, then scouts from a troop
	may give neckerchief ,etc...

Allowat: (When above is complete)(facing new scouts)Congratulations upon your achievements, and may 
you all reach your new goal, Eagle. ( to Audience) Let us now greet the new scouts and again congratulate them.
